COVID-19 Update

As we emerge from lock-down we wish to continue to reduce the spread of Covid 19. In order to achieve this aim please read and adhere to the following in conjunction with any updated guidelines produced by the church and the government.

It would be beneficial to have your own group risk assessment. The group leader is responsible for the safety of themselves and their group and all groups that use the facilities after them, by ensuring adherence to the protocol set out below. In order for groups to follow best practice, extra time will be given to allow the safety guidelines below.

Guidlines for all users:

  • You must not enter if you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms.

  • If you develop COVID-19 symptoms within 48 hours of visiting these premises alert NHS Test and Trace. Alert the church on 07961919266 and alert the organiser of the activity you attended.

  • On arrival wear a mask.

Additional guidelines for hall users:

  • Bring with you sanitising wipes.

  • Sanitise your hands using the dispenser in the porch, ensure that all other members of your group do the same on entry.

  • Open the windows in the hall to allow a through draft and circulate the air.

  • Using your wipes, clean everything you are going to use. Tables, chairs, light switches, taps sinks and toilets.

  • If you use the kitchen, then wipe the switches, taps, kettle etc. Give any crockery and cutlery a wash.

  • Once this is done, masks may be taken off, if it is within the current Government guidelines.

  • Repeat the cleaning process before you leave in order to protect the following hirer.

  • Use your wipes to clean the door handles on the way out please.

We hope that by keeping to this system we can keep the facilities safe for all our hirers. We do not have a caretaker so we appreciate your co-operation in keeping the building safe for all users, plus making it a welcome space for all, especially the vulnerable and the anxious.

Please do get in touch, via the website contact email if you would like any further information.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
